Lisa had the honor of being a speaker and panelist for Mayo Clinic’s RISE for Equity: Reflect, Inspire, Strengthen & Empower 2022 conference. Lisa spoke on the topic of “Digital: The Great Opportunity and Peril for Equity, Inclusion and Diversity”.

Lisa spoke to MiC’s LEAD program participants about the professional challenges they face in the technology sector as POC and women and how to navigate current conversations and initiatives in their organizations about DEI.

Lisa had the honor of speaking at two Shared Assessments events – to Advisory Board members on “The Future of Work and Its Impact on DEI” and at the Annual Summit on “The Advantage of Multidisciplinary Managers”.

This article addresses the following three key considerations for planning your nonprofit’s next virtual gala – Version 2.0:

1. Adapt upcoming galas to the appropriate online format for audiences and supporters.

2. Incorporate tactical lessons from 2020 to increase attendance and fundraising in the future.

3. Integrate crisis management processes and structures for long-term collaborative brainstorming, decision-making, and staff skill development.

Digital strategy should evolve directly from a nonprofit’s mission statement, just as its in-person strategy does. Thinking of strategy this way enables senior executives and board members to focus their efforts given the possibilities for new digital initiatives.

After years of dedicating time to pro bono strategy engagements with nonprofit clients, Lisa is proud to take on a new role serving Harvard Business School Club of New York’s Community Partners. Lisa is also co-authoring a series of articles for the organization's library.
