  • The Future of Work is defined by more employee turnover, increased hybrid and remote work, and a focus on wellness, fairness and equity.

  • DEI outcomes will worsen in the future without senior management intervention.

  • Adding a DEI lens to strategic initiatives promises a greater likelihood of sustainable financial success.

  • Business leaders must prioritize:

    • supporting business transformation,

    • developing critical management skills and new competencies,

    • and taking rapid action on social flashpoints, especially DEI issues.

  • Business leaders must establish DEI goals, and more importantly, metrics for tracking performance against key business needs like:

    • diversifying leadership bench

    • innovation

    • creating community

    • evaluating and promoting employees in hybrid work environment
