On February 14, 2022, Lisa spoke virtually to Shared Assessments Advisory Board members on “The Future of Work and Its Impact on DEI” – some key highlights:
The Future of Work is defined by more employee turnover, increased hybrid and remote work, and a focus on wellness, fairness and equity.
DEI outcomes will worsen in the future without senior management intervention.
Adding a DEI lens to strategic initiatives promises a greater likelihood of sustainable financial success.
Business leaders must prioritize:
supporting business transformation,
developing critical management skills and new competencies,
and taking rapid action on social flashpoints, especially DEI issues.
Business leaders must establish DEI goals, and more importantly, metrics for tracking performance against key business needs like:
diversifying leadership bench
innovation
creating community
evaluating and promoting employees in hybrid work environment
